Q: It is written in the manual that the maximum speed of the MUKUTA is 46 mph, why is my MUKUTA 10 PLUS only 25 mph? What's going on here?
A: Why is the speed limit for electric scooters? Mainly because of three reasons:
- Compliance with laws and regulations: Many countries and regions have stipulated the maximum speed limit for electric scooters to ensure traffic safety. Manufacturers set speed limits at the factory to ensure their products comply with local laws and regulations, avoiding potential legal liability.
- Safety considerations: The design and performance of electric scooters may have an impact on rider safety. Setting a speed limit can help control the maximum speed of a vehicle to reduce the risk of an accident. Setting a speed limit helps ensure that the product operates within a safe range.
- Battery life management: Setting a speed limit can help control the speed of the electric scooter, thereby reducing the battery's burden and prolonging the battery's service life. This helps improve product reliability and durability.
